summertime?

summertime! most college students are cramming for finals right now (that's what I should be doing instead of blogging, but I decided to take a break) and packing their dorms up to head home. I, instead, am packing up things to take to ANOTHER dorm. I'm taking summer classes until June 19th and am very much NOT excited about it! Tuesday ends my year as a freshman and the following Monday begins my summer classes. No break at all, geez. I went home this weekend and to say the least it was just not long enough. I so desperately wish I was going home on Tuesday for good. laying poolside and doing nothing. I soooo wish. If you think about it a month and a half longer isn't so bad but it just seems so unfair. I know there are other kids doing it but I just feel like throwing a pity party. Speaking of pity party, I'm throwing one now too. It's because I have a huge exam tomorrow and a mediocre one. I haven't started on the fifty point essay yet. Yes, half of my grade. UGHHH this is going to be a LONG night. oh boy! haha. pray for me and wish me luck. I need to FOCUS. It seems as though a trip to the store for some energy drinks and other stuff is in order! It looks like tonight might be an all-nighter folks!

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!

catching up...

i haven't blogged in FOREVER. but I just wanted to write something short and sweet. Things are going so amazing right now. God is so good. We go through tough times and are rewarded with great ones. Life is such a roller coaster but that's what keeps it interesting. I am soooo ready for summer. I'm taking classes all of May and up until June 19th so I really only have like a month and a half of summer but I guess it's well worth it. I get that tough spanish class outta the way. I got my fall schedule done and I must say I'm super excited about taking Astronomy. I hope it's fun. Oh, and I'm taking my very first Education class! Heck yes for teaching! Well it's late and I'm tired. I leave Thursday to go home for the Easter weekend which I am very excited about. College is amazing but I do miss home quite often. I am SUPER excited about Friday night. We're having 'back porch night' with Han and Dradles. Oh, how I miss them! I can't believe this fall Hannah will be at USC, gross I know but I love her anyway. She's growing up :( haha. well, goodnight bloggers. hopefully I'll get my writing muse back and keep this thing going.

p.s. I am REALLY ready for Greenville Taylor Swift tickets to go on sale. She won album of the year at the ACM's and she's headlining with Kellie Pickler, whom I saw at the beach. haha. Superrrr excited!

Confessions...

So if you haven't seen the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic you REALLY need to. I saw it last night and loved it. I went with a male who didn't say he loved it but said "I thought that movie was going to suck, but it was pretty alright." so I think that means he loved it! He laughed a lot, so I say he loved it. It was hilarious and entertaining. I highly recommend it. And if you haven't seen "He's Just Not That Into You", I also suggest you see this and take all your male friends. It's great also. Just thought I'd hand out a few movie reviews haha.

beach!!

this post has nothing to do with anything other than how I realllllllly want to go to the beach right now. I really hate swimming in the ocean but I love love love being down there around the atmosphere. The beach is such a carefree place. I miss my beach house and I cannot WAIT until spring break. Although it's going to be cold it will still be a chill and relaxing week. The sand beneath your toes and the wind in your hair makes all the worries of the world pass you by. The water down there is just terrible for my hair but it's the least of my worries. I love shopping at all the local boutiques and going to dinner on Restaurant Row in Murrells Inlet. The quaint communities and friendly people (minus the yankees on permanent vacation) brighten up our days. I just thought I'd share some pictures with you too get you in a beach mood as well! YAY! Beach!!!
